Dr. Miranda
Johnson-Haddad
Dramaturg &
Theatrical Consultant
Miranda Johnson-Haddad is a dramaturg and theatrical consultant with decades of experience working in theatre. A lifelong theatre lover, Miranda brings not only exceptional academic training and research skills but also deep joy and enthusiasm to her dramaturgical practice.
My Philosophy: As a dramaturg, I consider myself as being in service to the entire production and to everyone involved with it: the director, the cast, the creatives, the crew, and ultimately the audience. My practice centers around providing information that supports the director’s vision and that helps others to understand and fully inhabit the world of the play.
